What's new
Everything on this page is in the version of My Medical Data you are using now. Version sha-0f691ab
Released 6 Nov 2026
Added
- When two devices measure the same thing (a cuff and a watch for blood pressure, a scale and an app for weight), the latest value, the dashboard card and the summary now show one of them: the measuring device by default, otherwise the one with the most readings lately, and you can choose another on the result page with "Show latest from". Both still appear on the chart.
Changed
- On a shared link's page, the other way to open the record is now a short question with its button underneath ("Ana Pop not answering?" on one line, "Get a code by email at" on the next), so it no longer runs as one long line on a phone.
Fixed
- Opening a shared link no longer sends anything until you choose how to verify: an emailed code, or the approval of the person who shared it on their phone, after which the record opens by itself; the page has a RO / EN switch that is not saved on the device.
- On a shared link's code step a pasted code with spaces or dashes works, a new code can be asked for after 30 seconds, and five wrong codes cancel that code instead of locking the link.
Released 5 Nov 2026
Added
- An imaging study you uploaded shows in Documents while it is still being sent or processed, and turns into the study once stored; if processing fails, Documents says why and offers to upload it again until you dismiss it.
Fixed
- Every button that saves, deletes or changes something now shows at once that it heard the click, with a spinner and a label ending in an ellipsis, and a second click does nothing until the next page opens.
- While an imaging study uploads, the page no longer takes a second file, and it says whether you can close it: keep it open while the parts are sent, close it freely once everything has arrived.
- "Extract readings", "Re-extract" and "See what the OCR read" now show at once that they started: the button says what it is doing beside a spinner, the page shows the review page's outline with a status line, and a second click does nothing.
- On a report's page, each test's code now sits on its own line under the test's name, as on the review page, instead of breaking in the middle of the number.
- A unit the scan read that the test is not recorded in (such as ng/nL where ng/mL is usual) is offered unticked with the reason, the forms offer a list of units, and the chart no longer hides older values over the newest one's unit; with SI units chosen, haemoglobin, albumin and total protein now show in g/L and uric acid in micromoles per litre.
Released 4 Nov 2026
Added
- Click a device on the Devices page to see what it brings in: each metric with how many readings, the first and last, the latest and a small chart, and a link to that metric's results from that device alone.
Released 3 Nov 2026
Fixed
- A scanned report is read better when it was scanned straight: the page is read both as scanned and straightened, and the clearer reading is kept, so a scanned Bioclinica report now gives all its results with their units and the collection date.
- Every date field now shows the date you chose the way the rest of the app writes dates, "28 oct 2026" or "28 Oct 2026" in the app's language, whatever your browser's language, and an empty field says no date is chosen instead of looking filled with today's date in Safari.
- When nothing could be read from a report, the review page now shows the collection date you entered at upload instead of saying no date was found; that sentence appears only when no date was given either.
- A scanned Bioclinica report is now read: each test's result is taken from the line under its name, a value the scan left unclear is offered unticked or listed for you to check instead of being guessed, and the page no longer says it cannot tell what the document is.
- A reading another app copied into Apple Health or Health Connect, such as Health Mate or MyFitnessPal copying your Withings weigh-in, is no longer saved twice: it is skipped when your Withings or Oura connection brings the original or the same value is already stored, and the Devices page says so. Two devices that measured different values are both kept.
- Weights and other readings an app such as MyFitnessPal or Health Mate had copied into Apple Health, and that were stored twice before this fix, are removed once, so each measurement shows once on your charts; the original reading is kept.
Released 2 Nov 2026
Added
- You can upload a photo of a report (JPEG or PNG) as well as a PDF: it is read like a scanned page, its values offered for review, and "See what the OCR read" shows the words found on it. HEIC photos are not read yet; an iPhone sends a JPEG when you pick the photo from the upload button.
Fixed
- A urine sediment that names red cells "Hematii" with a grade, such as "Hematii foarte rare", is now read as the red-cell grade, as "Eritrocite" already was, where it used to be listed as a row the app could not read.
Released 1 Nov 2026
Added
- A MedLife urine culture with a count under the laboratory's limit, such as "Bacteriurie <1000 UFC/mL (fara semnificatie clinica)", is now read as a urine culture that grew nothing, with its count and the laboratory's wording, where it used to be listed as a section the app could not read.
- If you connect a Withings scale, your results now include its lean body mass, fat mass and muscle mass, and a Body Scan's figures for each arm, each leg and the torso, each charted on its own.
- When a document has scanned pages, "See what the OCR read" shows each one with every word the app recognised outlined on it and coloured by how sure the reading was, with the recognised text beside it, whatever kind of document it is.
- A MedLife urine sediment printed as a sentence, such as "Sediment urinar; Leucocite foarte rare, Celule epiteliale plate rare", is now read as a result for each element it names, with its grade as printed, where it used to be left out.
- Your earlier Withings weigh-ins now show body composition too: lean, fat and muscle mass, and a Body Scan's figures for each arm, each leg and the torso, from before the scale's body composition was read.
Fixed
- Older Regina Maria reports now also read results printed as a word outside the urine test, such as a negative RPR, the Helicobacter pylori stool antigen, the stool culture for Salmonella and Shigella and the urine ascorbic acid, and MedLife reports list a urine culture they cannot read instead of leaving it out.
Released 31 Oct 2026
Changed
- After you press Upload, the page shows the outline of the review screen and says the document is uploading until your values are ready, and the button can't be pressed twice.
Released 30 Oct 2026
Added
- A scanned page inside an otherwise ordinary PDF report is now read too: only that page goes through OCR, the review says which pages it was, and a value OCR was unsure of is left unticked for you to check against the scan.
- Older Regina Maria reports now also have their urine sediment grades of two words read ("Foarte rare"), and the urine colour and clarity.
- Older Regina Maria reports now have their urine test results read too (Nitriti Absenti, Corpi cetonici Absenti and the sediment), instead of being listed as rows that could not be read.
- An uploaded document is read as soon as it is stored, whatever type you picked, and its review says what the app thinks it is and why ("Suggested: Imaging report", because the examination field names RMN), with one click to read it as another kind; when the evidence is not clear it asks you instead of guessing.
Changed
- Saving a report with a single result keeps its reference whole: "Absenti, <=2 mg/dl" was saved as "Absenti" before.
- On a document's page, clicking its preview opens the viewer, the same as the View button, and it works from the keyboard too.
- With a family member chosen in the switcher, Overview is headed with their name and says the results are theirs, Devices says the connected devices are your account's and sync into your own record (with one click back to it), and the Apple Health import names the record it saves into before you upload and before you save.
- A result the app could not read is now listed on the review page with the line from your report and the reason, instead of disappearing.
Fixed
- A Withings connection no longer fetches and rewrites your latest measurement on every background sync, every 15 minutes, long after it was taken.
- An Oura connection that stopped syncing because Oura sent the same day twice (as around a clock change) syncs again on its own, and when a sync stops on our side the Devices card now names the error, so it can be reported.
Released 29 Oct 2026
Added
- Accounts from the early-access period keep the Family plan when early access ends: Settings names it "Family (early adopter)", with Family's limits and nothing to buy.
Changed
- The Devices card now says what brought each connection's last sync (the device's own notification, the regular background check, or you), and once the notifications are carrying the data the background check runs hourly instead of every 15 minutes.
- Device syncs respect each vendor's request limits (Oura 5,000 requests a day, Withings 120 a minute, for everyone together): a sync that would go past them waits briefly, and when a day's Oura budget is used up, Oura syncs are deferred to the next day and a "Sync now" says the vendor's limit was reached instead of failing silently.
Released 28 Oct 2026
Fixed
- MedLife reports: a unit printed with spaces in it ("mg / dL") is read whole instead of being split into the reference, a value marked out of range with "^" is read wherever the mark sits, and a row whose unit cannot be told apart from its reference is listed under the rows that could not be read rather than saved wrong.
Released 26 Oct 2026
Added
- You can share an imaging study, on the Family plan: "Everything", a date range or a study you tick, and the person you share it with can look through its images in their browser, with its attached report, and download it as a ZIP only if you let them.
- The phone app lists your imaging studies on Glance and opens one in the image viewer without signing in again: the phone gets a link that works once, for five minutes, into that one study's viewer for an hour, and nothing else on your account.
- Each plan now says what it holds for imaging studies, apart from documents: Free 1 study (2 GB) to download, Plus 10 studies (20 GB) with the image viewer, Family 25 studies (50 GB) with the viewer and study sharing. During early access a Free account keeps Family's limits, and the upload page and Settings say what yours are before you upload.
Fixed
- A result printed as a bound, such as CRP < 0.1, is now read from older Regina Maria reports, and kept as printed ("<0.1") instead of being left out without a word.
Released 22 Oct 2026
Added
- You can attach an imaging study's written report to the study from the study's page; the app suggests the report printed on the study's day for the same kind of scan, and each page links to the other.
- A report you uploaded as a lab report, in which nothing was recognised, can be marked "This is an imaging report" from its page, so its study can take it.
Fixed
- An imaging report laid out as a form, with the scan named in a field such as "Servicii efectuate" and its date beside "Data:", is now read as an imaging report of that day, so its study suggests it.
Released 20 Oct 2026
Added
- You can read a document in the page with "View", on its own page and on a link you share: a doctor no longer has to download a report to read it. Your sharing history shows which documents were viewed and which were downloaded.
- When you share, you choose whether the doctor gets a download button or only sees the documents on the page. New shares have no download button unless you tick "Let them download the documents"; links you sent before keep theirs. A document shown on the page still reaches the doctor's browser, so it can be saved or captured from there.
Released 16 Oct 2026
Added
- You can upload an imaging study, an MRI or CT from a CD or a download link, as a ZIP of up to 2 GB from Documents. Names, ids, birth dates, doctors and the clinic are removed from every file, and the study's page warns you when a series is a screenshot or may show text in the picture itself, which can't be removed. Viewing the images comes later.
- You can look through an imaging study's images in the browser, series by series, with brightness and contrast, zoom and a measuring tool.
- An imaging study upload left unfinished for more than a day can no longer be resumed; choose the file again to start it over.
- The rest of Sanador's test names are read: autoantibodies, hormones, infection serology and tumour markers.
- Test names from Sanador reports are read: chemistry, urine and fluid tests, coagulation, point-of-care tests, stool antigens and viral loads.
- Bioclinica's viral loads, hepatitis and herpes serology, stool antigens and more drug levels are read. A SARS-CoV-2 PCR ("PCR ARN") is no longer read as C-reactive protein.
- Bioclinica's immunology tests are read: autoantibodies (ENA, gliadin, phospholipid, HMGCR and more), infection antibodies by class (Mycoplasma, Chlamydia pneumoniae, Bartonella, dengue, chikungunya and others), plasma renin activity and free metanephrines. An IgE immunofixation is no longer read as total IgE.
- Test names from Bioclinica reports are read: spot and 24-hour urine tests, spinal-fluid and pleural or peritoneal fluid chemistry, coagulation factors, metals, drug levels and more. Red-cell folate and magnesium, a 24-hour urine total and stool bile acids are no longer read as the serum or spot-urine test.
- More test names from Regina Maria reports are read, among them beta-hCG, the faecal alpha-1 antitrypsin, the rotavirus and adenovirus stool antigen, measles and parvovirus B19 antibodies, PTH-related peptide and somatostatin. A blood-spot newborn screen is no longer read as the serum test.
Fixed
- Deleting a urine culture now deletes its antibiogram with it, instead of leaving the susceptibility results behind as readings of their own; the confirmation page says how many go with it.
- The add-a-reading form lists ionised calcium once; a reading typed in mmol/L is filed with the mmol/L readings, as one read from a report is.
- Ionised calcium printed in mmol/L is stored as the mmol/L test, and in mg/dL as the mg/dL one, instead of both under the mg/dL code; VIP likewise by its unit.
- Matching a name to a test is refused when its line prints a year beside a unit the test is not measured in.
- An allergen-specific "IgE spec" is no longer read as total IgE, nor a fibrinogen gene variant as the fibrinogen level, nor a prolactin after PEG as total prolactin.
- VLDL and directly measured LDL cholesterol are no longer read as total cholesterol, nor a fluid test ("alte produse") as the serum test.
- An allergen-specific IgG4 ("IgG4 specific la ...") is no longer read as total IgG4, nor a protein C gene test as protein C activity.
- Matching a name on a report to a test no longer saves a heading's year as a result: a line that prints a number without a unit is refused, and the review says why.
- A cytology or histopathology report now records the date it prints, when you save its diagnosis or press "Record this date" on its review, so the documents list no longer shows it as "Report date unknown".
Released 15 Oct 2026
Changed
- A urine, saliva, bone, glycated or quantitative test is no longer read as the serum or total test of the same name (urine homocysteine as blood homocysteine, bone alkaline phosphatase as total): it is read as itself, or listed as not recognised.
- Five tests are now stored under the right code: ASO, IgE, urea, ionised calcium and prothrombin time. Urea's mmol/L value is now right (it was shown 2.1 times too high). Readings saved before keep their name, and are moved to the new code once per site.
- eGFR from a Regina Maria report is now stored under the CKD-EPI code the report names, and every 25-OH vitamin D spelling under the total (D2+D3) code; readings saved before this keep their old code and are still shown under their test's name and panel.
Added
- Over a hundred more tests are read from a Synevo report: spinal-fluid and puncture-fluid chemistry, hormones (aldosterone, renin, growth hormone, IGF-1), tumour markers (CA 50, CA 242, ProGRP), protein C and S, antithrombin and more. Spinal-fluid and puncture-fluid tests, non-HDL cholesterol and leukocyte ALP are no longer read as the serum test.
- The rest of MedLife's test names are read where they are one result, among them folate in red cells, BNP, methotrexate, vigabatrin, VLDL cholesterol and the free light-chain ratio. Allergen-specific IgE ("IgE specific la ...") is no longer read as total IgE, nor "Troponina T și Troponina I" as troponin T.
- More test names from MedLife reports are read, including tests the app already knew under another name, and new ones such as tissue transglutaminase, beta-2 glycoprotein I and pertussis toxin antibodies and pancreatic amylase.
- Viral loads (HBV, HCV, HDV, HIV, CMV, EBV), BCR-ABL1 and HPV tests on a Synevo report are read, as are stool, urine and throat antigen tests.
- Infectious serology on a Synevo report is read: Toxoplasma, rubella, CMV and EBV antibodies, hepatitis D, H. pylori, Chlamydia, Giardia, Brucella and parasite antibodies, tetanus and diphtheria antitoxin, and avidity tests; screens are read against the laboratory's cutoff and its equivocal band.
- More immunology tests are read from a Synevo report: complement factors, cytokines (IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, TNF-alpha), tryptase, ECP, neurofilament light chain, MBL, the CD4/CD8 ratio and the quantitative faecal immunochemical test. IgG subclasses (IgG1-IgG4) are read as themselves, no longer as total IgG.
- About a hundred and twenty more tests are read from a Synevo report: drug levels (antiepileptics, immunosuppressants, lithium, digoxin), metals in blood and urine, urine drug screens and autoantibodies reported as one value (anti-CCP, ENA antibodies, ANCA, anticardiolipin, GAD, TSH receptor). A drug confirmation is no longer read as the screen.
- About sixty more tests are read the same way: specific proteins (immunoglobulins, complement, haptoglobin, ceruloplasmin, procalcitonin), vitamins and trace elements, oxidative-stress markers, and coagulation factors. Red-cell magnesium and selenium and oxidised LDL are read as their own tests.
- Over eighty more tests are read from a Synevo report and from any laboratory that names them the same way: tumour markers (CEA, CA 125, CA 19-9, AFP, HE4), adrenal, fertility and bone markers, hepatitis B, C, D and A serology and more.
- More tests on a Regina Maria report are read: among them "Glicemie", "TGP" and "TGO", amylase, lipase, complement C3 and C4, free PSA and urine creatinine (which was read as blood creatinine before).
- A cytology, histopathology or imaging report uploaded as a lab report is recognised as one: its review says there is nothing to chart instead of offering its headings as unknown tests, the documents list names it, and a cytology or histopathology diagnosis can be kept on your health profile as a condition.
- A Lyme disease antibody screen (Borrelia IgM) on a Regina Maria report is now read, with its index and the laboratory's bands, instead of being listed as an unknown test.
- Oura: connect an Oura ring on the Devices page. Sleep nights, resting heart rate, heart rate, daily activity and workouts are read from it.
- Oura also brings heart rate variability, respiratory rate, its readiness, sleep and activity scores, skin temperature deviation and the night's blood-oxygen average.
- Oura tells the app when you sync your ring, so new data arrives in about a minute instead of on the 15-minute check.
- Withings: daily steps, distance, active energy, exercise minutes and floors climbed are read, and workouts are listed as sessions. A connection made before this needs a reconnect to add them, and its card says so.
- Workouts from an Apple Health export or the phone app are listed under Sleep & activity, each with its type, duration, distance, energy and average heart rate.
- Active energy, exercise minutes, distance and floors climbed are kept as one total per day from an Apple Health export and from the phone app.
- The phone app's phones are listed on the Devices page and on the dashboard's Connected devices, each with when it last synced, and can be removed there.
- Sharing: when someone opens one of your share links you can approve or deny it from your phone, checking a two-digit code against theirs.
- Medicines: a name read from a prescription or a hospital letter is matched to Romania's list of authorised medicines and kept with its active substance code.
- Regina Maria's 2026 bulletin layout is read.
- Hepatitis B and C screens, and seven other analyses, are recognised on lab reports.
- Seven more antibiotics are recognised in a urine culture's antibiogram, tetracycline among them.
- Withings and Health Connect show their own logos on the Devices page.
- A "Not found" page when a link points at something that does not exist or is not in your account, instead of an empty file.
- This "What's new" page.
- A report from a laboratory the app has no layout for is now read as the table it prints (name, result, unit, reference), where before only "name = value" lines were. Results given as a word, and screens such as hepatitis and HIV, are still left for you there.
- A test printed under a name one letter off a known one (a misspelling, a doubled letter) is now read as that test instead of being left out. It is marked as a name the app read as that test, and offered unticked for you to confirm.
- A test your report prints under a name the app does not know can be matched to its test on the review page. It is then read on that report and on the ones you upload later, and you can remove the match again.
Changed
- Deleting a hospital letter also removes the condition it added to your health profile, as it already removed its medicines. A condition you typed in yourself stays.
- Heart rate variability from Apple Health is named for what it is, SDNN, and Oura's, which is RMSSD, is kept apart from it.
- A night's sleep that arrives twice, from Oura and from the phone's copy of it, is stored once.
- The results pages stay quick after a large sync: their summary is rebuilt once, in the background.
Fixed
- An Apple Health export that holds a workout written as a plain record no longer stops the import.
- Opening a share link that cannot ask for approval no longer uses up one of the day's requests to its owner.
- A repeat Oura sync no longer re-reads three days of heart-rate samples every 15 minutes.
- A hepatitis B or C screen that came back positive or equivocal is now saved, read against the bands the lab prints under the result, instead of being left out. A result printed as "< 0.1" is read too.
